Where on Earth has the time gone!. Now we have 2 Xbox360s, 2 XBox live accounts, 1 Wii (wifi), 2 computers, 2 netbooks, 1 iTouch, Foxtel, Foxtel on xBox, 4 mobile phones, 1 iPod Nano and 1 MP3 player, 100GB a month plan and where do I even start about what we use the internet for, but here goes:
  • iTouch - Banking Apps, games, TV shows, wireless YouTube access
  • XBoxes - gaming with friends, download games and previews, Foxtel
  • Netbooks - 1 for school and one for personal, Messenger, Facebook, Piknik, wireless access with friends and family, IMDB.com when watching movies, news sites, recipes
  • MP3s galore, over 1000 in our library now
  • Main topics for web browsing:
  • saving money, budgeting, investing
  • enviro-normal tips for the household, that save money too
  • game play, walk throughs
  • cheap(er) electronics and gift purchasing
  • competitions - I will win an iPad!
  • I organised a round the world trip for 3 of us last year for 5 weeks using the web for everything, accommodations, flight planning, tours, blogging and photo loading, sharing calendars and contacts - only used a travel agent for flight booking.

Another two years on. Its so hard to document what I do now. I have a 2MB personal broadband connection, 3 computers and an Xbox machine internet connected, downloaded 40GB of data in the last month alone - mainly on XBox Live and Foxtel Downloads. With Twitter, very active Facebook account and internet everything I couldn't possibly list everything we do. At the moment the kids love Moshi Monsters, Go Supermodel (uk), Club Penguin, making YouTube movies, and Messenger/Hotmail with their bestest buddies.

Mainly back here following SaveMrPotatoHead, my poor work colleague is in trouble, and his mummy (V) is beside herself.

Deary me, I'm so slack. Anyhow, I now have a myspace space. There is sooo much out there in the web 2.0 world. Google Earth is just amazing too. How else can you travel the world from the comfort of your own study.

Nearly 4 years on - should have blogged more often. Update - have moved to Queanbeyan doing up an old house, very slowly. Bought a servo, United Sutton. Sold the shares at a great price to go to New Zealand - so worth it.

Recently, used evite to set up a birthday party invitation and RSVP, flew to Brisbane and booked online flying Qantas, and also used Wotif to book accommodation. I spend too much money on ebay buying coloured glass.

I'm still here, where did the last year go? I'm looking at a few web content management systems for work, which has got me all inspired again to redesign our family website, and to write in the blog.

We are trying to sell our car, which I have posted on All Classifieds in Canberra, as well as on our own website. Want a Tarago Gli in very good condition??

Looking at lasy years blogs, what has changed?
The IAG shares are doing better.
We are now trying to sell our house, would you like to buy a house in Jerrabomberra?
I have kept off the weight I lost last year and I'm trying to follow the CSIRO's Total Well Being Diet.

I still did my tax on the paper form.

I have been too quiet here, is the blog still up? I have been researching ADSL options lately now I have moved house to one close to an exchange. AAPT may win me over because of our existing phone plans with them.

Its been a month without an entry. That tells you what kind of month we've had. I did better in the share tipping competition - in at 609 or something out of 3800. Our friends shared photos from their son's wedding in Wisconsin.
The kids spent some time at ABC for Kids, and made lego people at Reasonably Clever's mini-mizer.
